Discover the Pignano Art Gallery, sophisticated art space immersed in nature, and the unique art exhibition exploring the richness of soil as both, inspiration and a material of creation. Terra Vivente, The Living Earth, presents an encounter of artists that interpret and relate to the earth in various ways. On one hand we see ceramic and painting artworks created directly with the use of terra as a medium, creating a sensory immediate experience. Another approach is that of observation through the languages of photography and painting, portraying the abstract beauty of earths, contemplated both in detail and from afar. During the event the artist will perform a spectacular live ceramic sculpture creation with an open air kiln set up in front of the gallery.

Enjoy the experimental live music performance: fusion of energy and rhythm of the Japanese wooden taiko drums with the beauty of lyric soprano voice and the best of Italian opera. The taiko drumming performance combines ancient traditional court and religious rituals with vital choreographed movements of powerful expression inspired by the martial arts.

ORGANIC WINE TASTING & “SUSTAINABLE CULTURE & AGRICULTURE” OPEN EXPERT PRESENTATIONS AND DISCUSSION
Sample a selection of over 30 of the best organic wines from Tuscany during an afternoon of wine tasting in the garden of Borgo Pignano, one of the most charming villas of Tucany with its breathtaking views.
Listen to and participate in open presentations and panel discussion of experts on the organic farming and living, taking place from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.
